Greetings Brothers and Sisters!

As we come to the close of another year, I wish to Thank everyone in our local for their continued support and participation throughout this year. The Local was extremely busy this year thanks to old events and new ones as well as a very active part in the historic election of Senator Barack Obama. I thank all elected and appointed representatives from all Units, Staff, Standing Committee members and volunteers for their hard work in organizing events and representing our membership. I especially thank our active and retired members for your continued support of our local! It is an honor to serve you as President and I look forward to another year. Although 2009 will be filled with challenges, I know that through hard work, perseverance and Solidarity we will remain strong! Finally I wish for each of you a very Prosperous, Happy and Safe New Year!
