LABOR DAY is Monday September 7, 2009 and as usual the Local will be participating in the annual Labor Day Parade. This years parade will again be on Woodward Avenue and all Members Retirees and Families are invited to come out and enjoy the day. You can meet us downtown as we line up on Parsons Street near Woodward before the start of the parade. You may also join us here at the local for a continental breakfast and a bus ride downtown to Seldon Street where we will line up for the parade. Following the parade a bar b q lunch will be served at Local 245. Buses will leave Local 245 by 730 am. the parade begins at 930 am.
