Greetings Members and Retirees! The Annual Food and Clothing Drive ends Friday!! While this years donations are up from last year, we are still down from years prior. There is still time to donate!! Please drop off your new or used clothing or non perishable food donations to any drop box in the plant or drop it off at Local 245. All Donations will be delivered to Fort Street Presbyterian Church on Monday!! Thanks for your support

Hello...Just a reminder that Tuesday December 14, 2010 is the Resolutions meeting at Local 245 beginning at 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Due to the large number of resolutions only National resolutions will be voted on tomorrow. Local resolutions meetings will be scheduled in January or February. In the meantime Local resolutions may sill be submitted. Once again National resolutions will be voted on at Tuesdays Meeting. Hope to see you there and thank you for participating in this process!

The 2010 Children's Christmas Party at Region 1-A was a huge success! Thanks to all of the members and retirees that attended! There were over 400 Adults and kids that enjoyed Sundays event. There were balloon twisters for the kids and a keyboard player providing background music and a special visit from the jolly old elf himself Santa Claus. My thanks to the Recreation and Woman's committee and all of our volunteers that put in time to make this years event a success! Congratulations to our Prize winners: Lauryn St. Bernard and Austin Forrest who won bikes; Braylin McKinney who won the specially designed balloon Hat; and to Lucas Schaumburger, Olivia Drys, Matthew Urbancczyk, Logan Hartley, Zachery Jeziorski, Maya Sarikonda and Presley who won MP3 players!
